Diary in English♡On the 11th of March
I moved into my new house and started working for an English company in London. It has been about 2 weeks since I came here.
I've been busy for the past few days as I had a lot of things to do; buying new duvet cover, a bed cover and pillow covers, finding shops where I can get Japanese food and sauces, cleaning up my new room etc.
I'm in training at a new company and I need to learn many things. I'm anxious if I can get used to the new job, but I'll do my best. By the way, I was surprised on the first day as we could have free coffee and tea in the office! And it seems that nobody works overtime; actually they do, but not too much. I think the conditions of work here are much better than in Japan.
At the weekend, I always sleep in late and wake up late. And then I go to some markets to get food, and cook something, keeping it for weekdays at work, because I need to save money and I don't want to cook when I am tired after work and came back home.
I spent a lot of my saving so far and I can't spend anything more until I will get my salary in pounds. I want to go out and shop on weekend, but I have been denying myself. I can't wait for my first payday!
I started practicing English on some apps everyday. A lot of my Japanese coworkers can speak English well, and since I don't need to use English in work, that made me anxious. I want to improve my English, I need to, so I'm trying to do something that I can do now.
